Oneida, N.Y., USA. 1911. This trap is a smaller version of the No. 5 bear trap and was designed for smaller bears, wolves and cougars. The wide jaws have a set of three evenly spaced teeth on each of the non-offset jaws with a double spring composition. The circumference of the treadle pan is marked S. NEWHOUSE / ONEIDA COMMUNITY N.Y. and PAT. / SEPT. 26. 1911. / NO. 50 in the center.
