Omhie - Apocalypse

A work of explosive visual energy that fuses urban neo-expressionist aesthetics with a sharp, ironic narrative. At the center of the composition stands a dinosaur-like figure rendered in a raw, skeletal style, crowned with a vibrant gold crown—a clear nod to the iconic visual language of Jean-Michel Basquiat. In the upper left, a stencil inscription reads: "The earth gave up and I came back", turning the painting into a post-apocalyptic and irreverent manifesto. The use of color drips, urban marks, and stark chromatic contrasts—from the acid green background to the deep black silhouette—delivers the immediate and visceral power of street art. A unique piece blending contemporary pop culture with a biting, lighthearted reflection on the end (and the potential return) of the world.
