All auctions / Watches & Clocks / Omega - Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch - Unisex - 1980-1989
For forward-thinking collectors and investors in the watch sector, this lot represents a unique market opportunity: the Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch "Apollo XI 1969" (20th Anniversary of the Moon Landing, 1969-1989), regarded by enthusiasts and experts as the ultimate Holy Grail for any Speedmaster collector. In high-end collecting, the real investment value is driven by scarcity, condition, and the completeness of the комплект. This specific specimen gathers the rare combination of three key appreciation factors: commemorative edition "APOLLO XI 1969" (Primary Value Driver): Characterized by the factory-original vintage engraving on the left side of the stainless steel case (at 9 o'clock) with the inscription "APOLLO XI 1969". Produced in a limited run in 1989 to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the first moon landing, this detail makes the case unmistakable and historically of the highest collectible value. The Legendary Ref. 1450 bracelet with 808 Ends: Regarded by watchmaking experts as the best bracelet ever produced in the Speedmaster’s history for solidity, aesthetics, and comfort on the wrist. Even as a standalone bracelet traded on the vintage collectible market, it commands autonomous, very high valuations and is continually rising. Integrity of the Set (Full Set with 12/1989 Warranty): A watch of this significance preserves and increases its value over time only if accompanied by its original documentation. This lot is provided complete with the original vintage wooden box with commemorative medallion and the original paper warranty dated December 12, 1989.
