History The Genève line was introduced in the 1950s to designate watches manufactured to exacting standards in Omega's Geneva workshops. Over the following decades, the collection expanded to include a wide variety of elegant dress and everyday timepieces that became highly popular among enthusiasts. This example from circa 1970 is powered by the manual-winding Omega Caliber 601, a well-regarded movement featuring 17 jewels and adjusted to two positions, perfectly illustrating the straightforward and reliable mechanical watchmaking of the era.
