Dial and Hands The clean and exceptionally well-preserved gold-tone dial features a striking vertical brushed finish that catches the light beautifully. Crisp black printed text and matching indices provide excellent contrast against the textured surface. There is no visible spotting, staining, or damage to the dial. The matching black stick hands remain in excellent condition, showing a clean finish with no visible oxidation or damage. Case and Crystal The cushion-shaped case features rounded corners and a sleek integrated design, lacking a distinct separate bezel to maintain a slim, unified profile. The gold-plated case with a stainless steel caseback displays honest wear consistent with its age, including light surface scratches, handling marks, and minor wear on the lug edges and flanks. The knurled crown is signed with the Omega logo and shows light wear. The flat crystal is clear, presenting minor surface wear but no visible deep scratches or cracks. Movement Inside the case is the manual-winding Omega Caliber 625. The movement features clean copper-colored plates and bridges, with no visible corrosion, oxidation, or damage, while the screw heads appear clean. The caliber is engraved with the Omega signature and notes its 17-jewel, unadjusted construction. The timegrapher recorded a rate of -3s-5s/day. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece. Strap The watch is fitted with its original signed black leather strap. The interior lining bears the Omega signature, and it is secured by a signed gold-tone Omega buckle. The dial and hands are exceptionally well-preserved, presenting a clean and striking appearance. The gold-plated case shows honest, age-related wear, with light scratches and minor wear on the flanks and lugs. The original strap shows expected creasing from use. Supported by the recorded timegrapher result, the movement is performing very strongly. Dimensions The case size is 25 mm (excluding the crown). Remarks This Omega De Ville is a superb dress watch defined by its clean vertical brushed dial and classic cushion-shaped case. Retaining its original signed leather strap and buckle, it offers a complete and highly original package for the discerning collector. History The Omega De Ville was established as a standalone collection in 1967, created specifically to showcase the brand's elegant dress watches. Moving away from the sporty Seamaster line where the De Ville name originally appeared, the collection focused entirely on refined aesthetics, formal elegance, and slim profiles. The reference 5110413 perfectly represents this design philosophy. By utilizing a cushion-shaped case with an integrated bezel area and powering the watch with the reliable manual-winding Caliber 625, Omega created an elegant timepiece that remains highly appreciated by vintage enthusiasts today.
