An authentic and highly collectible Soviet mechanical wristwatch, manufactured by the Maslennikov Watch Factory (ZIM) in honor of the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. This particular model is a classic example of Soviet horological history and Olympic paraphernalia, highly prized for its vibrant aesthetics and cultural significance. Dial: A striking emerald green sunray dial adorned with the official Olympic rings and the inscription «Mokba 80.» Gold-tone hour markers and hands. Movement: Reliable hand-wound ZIM Caliber 2602 movement with 15 jewels. Case Diameter: 36 mm (excluding crown). Case Diameter with Crown: 38 mm Lug-to-Lug: 42 mm Thickness: 10.5 mm Lug Width: 18 mm Distinctive cushion-shaped brass case with a high-quality AU10 gold-plated finish (10 microns of gold plating).
