Oliver Klapp (XX) - Sculpture

“PEACE” – Oliver Klapp (XX) A colorful and expressive art object by Oliver Klapp, executed in a recognizable mix of Pop Art, Street Art and Urban Contemporary Art. Oliver Klapp develops a distinctive visual language in which pop-art influences and street culture come together. His work is characterized by bold colors, playful typography, graphic elements and a contemporary urban appearance. In the sculptural work “PEACE” the word itself forms the basis of the composition. The three-dimensional letters are richly decorated with graffiti elements, colorful patterns, pop-art iconography and graphic details. The vibrant imagery refers to the energy of street art, while the rounded sculptural form gives the object a pronounced contemporary design aesthetic. Through its strong colors, glossy finish and recognizable message, PEACE forms a striking statement piece. The work sits superbly in a modern interior, office, gallery or contemporary art collection. From different angles, new details, colors and graphic elements become visible.
