Oeros - Fossil bone - Bos primigenius - 36 cm - 16 cm (No reserve price)

Fossil Auerochs Jaw - Bos primigenius Very nice large piece jaw with Teeth/Molars The Auerochs (Bos primigenius) is an extinct species of cattle. Although modern domestic cattle descend from the wild aurochs, the aurochs was much larger. The shoulder height of an aurochs bull was probably between 160 and 185 centimeters and that of the aurochs cow around 150 centimeters. An adult bull weighed up to a thousand kilograms. After the last Ice Age, aurochs, mammoths and woolly rhinoceroses disappeared definitively This Jaw is desalinated and still in clean water; everyone handles conservation in their own way, I therefore gladly leave this to the next owner Doggerland no longer exists, but traces of it are still found on the beaches of the North Sea. It is common for hikers, enthusiasts and researchers to find something special there Also amazing treasures such as a Jaw of a Oerol.
