Ny'BAndoki - Afrikaanse rivierlandschap bij zonsondergang

y'Bandoki is known for his atmospheric renderings of African nature, with the distinctive light and characteristic silhouettes of trees at the center. Although he is also renowned for his stylized figures of African women painted on recycled materials such as flower sacks, this particular canvas showcases his mastery in capturing a water-rich landscape at sunset. The use of deep purple, orange, and yellow tones combined with the dark tree silhouettes is very characteristic of his painting style. Painted on a vintage flour sack or flower sack (often used as painter's canvas or textile decoration), specifically originating from Congo with the brand name "MIDEMA" (Farine de Froment de Premier Choix / Product de la République Démocratique du Congo).
