All auctions / Watches & Clocks / Norton - Sirio - Automatico Miyota 8215 - Acciaio...
orton: over thirty years of Italian watchmaking, where artisanal tradition meets the precision of Japanese and Swiss movements. In this auction we offer: Norton - Sirio - Automatic Miyota 8215 - Steel - Integrated Bracelet - Exhibition Case Back - 40 mm - 10 ATM Automatic 40 mm watch in stainless steel with brushed and polished finishes, silver dial with guilloché work and sunray finish, Japanese automatic movement visible through the exhibition case back, anti-glare mineral glass, water resistance 10 ATM/100 m, integrated steel bracelet designed by Norton. New with box, papers and official 2-year warranty. Sirio takes its name from the brightest star in the sky, and like that star it lives by light. The dial is built around a guilloché motif of parallel lines beneath a sunray finish: light passes through it and changes tone with every wrist movement, from light to dark, never flat. The applied hour markers and hands feature luminescent coating, and the printed minute track completes the dial with instrument-quality precision. The case is 40 mm stainless steel, with alternating brushed and polished surfaces that define its sporty-elegant character. The screw-down case back houses a mineral glass window through which the Japanese automatic movement can be observed at work, with the rotor winding with every gesture. The bracelet is stainless steel, custom-designed for this case, integrated into the profile of the lugs and finished with the same alternation of brushed and polished surfaces: not a modified bracelet, but part of the watch’s design. The silver dial is the brightest and most versatile version of the range: it changes with ambient light, from warm white to steel gray, and goes well with anything you wear.
