The bezel insert is steel, not aluminum: it resists scratches, does not fade, and ages with the case rather than before the case. The dual shiny and brushed finish makes it legible in all lighting conditions. From the exhibition case back you can observe the Japanese automatic movement at work, with Norton-custom rotor recharging with every wrist movement.
