Norman Wilson for Wedgwood Black Glazed Footed Bowl

This footed ceramic bowl was designed by Norman Wilson for Wedgwood. The piece features a deep conical form with straight, flaring walls that taper to a narrow, circular foot. It is finished in a uniform, satin-to-matte black glaze on both the interior and exterior surfaces. The interior shows subtle concentric throwing rings near the rim. The base of the foot remains unglazed, revealing a fine-grained, off-white clay body. The base is stamped with the initials NW. The underside of the foot also features a circular paper provenance sticker for the Rubin Collection.
