NO RESERVE PRICE!- Sculptural IRON METEORITE Campo del Cielo (Argentina

The Campo del Cielo meteorite arrived on Earth about 4,500 years ago, delivering in what is now Argentina the largest known shower of metallic meteorites. It was used by pre-Columbian peoples to manufacture metal tools and astonished the Spanish conquistadors when they arrived in the Americas. In this lot we present a complete, large piece of Campo del Cielo metallic meteorite with a natural sculptural shape, very beautiful, with regmaglypts, and spectacular cracks that give it an unusually striking look. It has been cleaned and stabilized to prevent oxidation. A clean, healthy specimen with no bothersome oxides, excellent quality, worthy of a great collection. Metallic meteorites like this originate from the cores of large asteroids that disintegrated during the formation of the solar system, and they have an age similar to that of the Earth itself, that is, more than 4 billion years old. Since the Argentine government prohibited the export of these meteorites, their value has been steadily increasing. Also a safe investment, as they become increasingly rare to find for sale. An excellent opportunity to add this universe marvel to your collection. We are members of the leading international associations related to meteorites, and we guarantee for life the authenticity of all our meteorites and jewelry made from this material.
