NO RESERVE PRICE!- Sculptural IRON METEORITE Campo del Cielo (Argentina

The Campo del Cielo meteorite fell to Earth about 4,500 years ago, landing in present-day Argentina, the largest known metallic meteorite shower. It was used by pre-Columbian peoples to make metal utensils and it caused genuine astonishment to the Spanish conquerors when they arrived in the Americas. In this lot we present a large complete piece of Campo del Cielo metallic meteorite, with a natural sculptural shape, very beautiful, with regmaglypts, and spectacular cracks that give it an unusually striking appearance. It includes a stand so it looks fantastic. It has been cleaned and stabilized to prevent oxidation. A clean, healthy specimen with no troublesome oxides, excellent quality, worthy of a great collection or museum. Metallic meteorites like this come from the core of large asteroids that disintegrated during the formation of the solar system, and have an age similar to that of the Earth itself, that is, more than 4 billion years old. Since the government of Argentina banned the export of these meteorites, their value has been rising rapidly. A safe investment as well, since they are increasingly difficult to find for sale. An excellent opportunity to add this universe wonder to your collection. We are members of the leading international associations related to meteorites, thus guaranteeing for life the authenticity of all our meteorites and jewelry made from this material.
