Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver 925 and Lapis Lazuli – Signed "JJ" Stunning open-back cuff bracelet of Navajo Native American craftsmanship, dating from the mid/late 20th century. The jewelry is entirely handmade in sterling silver 925 and features a refined three-dimensional artisanal work with botanical motifs, engraved leaves and applied floral details. In the center stands a magnificent oval natural lapis lazuli cabochon in an intense deep blue. On the back of the mount are clearly stamped the original hallmarks that certify authenticity and collectible value: Sterling Mark (silver 925) Navajo artisan's signature with the initials J J (attributable to Jerry/Johnny Johnson) Condition: Excellent vintage condition, with a beautiful natural patina of time that enhances the details of the workmanship and the contrasts of the darkened silver. A unique piece for collectors, elegant and of great historic charm. Width/maximum internal diameter: about 6.3 cm (standard size that comfortably fits medium-small wrists). Gap opening: about 4.0 cm (allows easily sliding the bracelet laterally onto the wrist). Overall height (profile): about 3.7 cm at the highest point, including the protrusion of the setting with the lapis lazuli. Total weight: 14.6 grams
