This piece of jewelry is a beautiful example of craftsmanship and history. The pendant features very clear, official Swedish hallmarks on the bail, making the origin and the year exact. Key features: Material: 18-karat gold (certified with the official '18K' stamp). Origin: Sweden (equipped with the well-known Swedish 'Kattfot' guarantee mark with the three crowns and the Stockholm city hallmark). Year of manufacture: Exact 1949 (guaranteed by the official Swedish year letter Y8). Weight: 2.44 grams (a refined, elegant and light piece of jewelry to wear). The Camee: An authentic, hand-carved shell cameo (not plastic or glass!) with a beautifully fine-detailed female portrait against a warm red-orange background.
