Most freshwater pearls are nucleated by tissue, but Edison cultured pearls are nucleated with beads, exactly as saltwater pearls This luxurious necklace contains Edison Pearls which were chosen for their bright luster that can be compared with that of high-end saltwater pearls, and for their unique vibrant white colour. The pearls measure 7.5x8mm in diameter, perfect size for a double pearl strand. The pearls have some light natural growth characteristics on the surface that do not detract from the elegance of the necklace. Knotted between each pearl for safety, the necklace is completed with an elegant clasp in solid silver. At 88cm you can wear the necklace long or double in order to achieve the desired effect.
