All auctions / Jewelry & Gems / No reserve price - Necklace Silver - 44.00ct
The elegant Art Nouveau necklace is made of 925 silver and is also stamped on the back of the centerpiece. The four-lobed centerpiece, oriented to the corners, in a flowing design bears finely relief–etched ornaments in entwined Art Nouveau lines. As the lower termination, two white cultured pearls in an elegant drop shape with very beautiful luster are movable pendants. The centerpiece is carried by two garnet beads and cylindrical strands of blood-red Bohemian garnet in a finely polished surface. The necklace is fastened with a spring-ring clasp. Length of the necklace: approx. 46.5 cm, width at most 3.8 cm. Centerpiece approx. 3.8 cm x 2.8 cm, cultured pearls approx. 7 mm in diameter = total approx. 5.0 ct. Garnet beads approx. 2.9 to 3.0 mm in diameter = total approx. 39 ct. Bohemian goldsmith work from around 1910/1920 in very good, well-preserved condition. The stated quantity of garnets is only an approximate value and does not claim completeness. An error in the counted quantity is not due to malice but is merely an oversight and does not constitute grounds for exchange requests. Shipping will be in a new jewelry case / jewelry pouch. The pictured jewelry cases, stands, displays, or other photographic aids are the property of the photographer and are not part of the offering. The color may vary slightly depending on lighting, camera settings, or screen display. Shipping as insured parcel. NOTE: The customs and import duties of the respective countries, as well as any possible island-delivery charges (currently 50 EUR), are the responsibility of the buyer. We explicitly point out that, after the amendment of the right of withdrawal by EU legislation, the cost of return shipping is to be borne by the buyer, regardless of any value threshold or reason for return. I have no influence over the processing times of shipping companies in the respective EU countries. If you have questions about delivery time, please contact your country’s postal service and, if necessary, be a little patient. Due to unsettled customs and duty regulations, shipping to the USA is currently not possible. Since this is a private sale, I exclude any liability for material defects.
