Most freshwater pearls are nucleated by tissue, but Edison cultured pearls are nucleated with beads, exactly as saltwater pearls This necklace contains Edison Pearls which were chosen for their bright luster that can be compared with that of high-end saltwater pearls, and for their unique vivid multi golden pink and lavender colours ! The pearls have some light natural growth characteristics on the surface that do not detract from the elegance of the necklace. The pearls measure 9.5x10.5mm in diameter, the perfect size for a single pearl strand. Knotted between each pearl for safety, the necklace is completed with a solid invisible clasp. One end pearl receives a fine quality screw and the other end pearl a bolt mechanism. The clasp easily functions by gently twisting it counter clockwise to unlock, and clockwise to lock.
