Offered here is a handsome Remainder that supposedly represents the Newport Exchange Bank. Per one of our previous descriptions, it is possible that this piece was among a number of samples produced by RWH. Yet this example is rather curious when held against its peers. Here a pair of triangular cancellations are concurrent with the Cashier's and President's title seen after the signature panels suggesting that this could be a "test note" or a spurious impression.
