Silver Florin (28 Stuivers) 1618 - R2 (Rare) - Sharp strike Een historisch belangrijke en kwalitatief bovengemiddelde zilveren florijn van 28 stuiver, geslagen door de Vrije Rijksstad Deventer in het jaar 1618. Deze munt werd uitgegeven op naam van de Heilige Roomse Keizer Matthias I (1612-1619) en is een uitstekend voorbeeld van de stedelijke muntslag uit de vroege 17e eeuw. Dit specifieke exemplaar onderscheidt zich door een opvallend scherpe slag voor dit type. Een cruciaal detail voor verzamelaars is de rijksappel op de borst van de adelaar; op deze munt is de waardeaanduiding (28) zeer duidelijk en scherp zichtbaar. This coin was issued in the name of the Holy Roman Emperor Matthias I (1612-1619) and represents a prime example of civic coinage from the early 17th century. This particular specimen is notable for its remarkably sharp strike. A key feature for collectors is the Imperial orb on the eagle's breast; on this piece, the value indication (28) is clearly and sharply visible. The 1618 date for this issue is classified with the rarity grade R2 (Rare) in numismatic literature.
