Magnificent set of three nested tables in dark stained wood of Asian style, dating from the second half of the 20th century. Each top is richly decorated with a traditionally hand-painted floral motif (peonies, cherry blossoms) accompanied by birds on a bright golden background. The borders and crosspieces are enhanced with gilded edges and light gold motifs. This very practical set fits perfectly into a classic, vintage, or Chinese/Japonizing inspired interior. Structure: Stained oak/dark brown wood. Tabletops: Floral painted decorations (peonies, plum/cherry blossoms) and birds on a speckled golden background, protected under varnish or a plate of glass/lacquer. Details: Gold fillets framing the tabletops and light floral motifs on the tall crosspieces. Dimensions: Large: Height: 55 cm. Length: 41.5 cm. Width: 31.5 cm. Medium: Height: 47 cm. Length: 32.5 cm.
