Striking quartz aggregate characterized by numerous prismatic crystals with pointed terminations, enriched by intense orange, peach, and honey tones. The coloration, typical of quartz marketed as Tangerine Quartz, is commonly associated with the presence of iron oxides and hydroxides on the surface of the crystals. The three-dimensional arrangement of the prisms, glassy reflections, and the contrast between the orange areas and the lighter ones give the specimen a remarkable aesthetic impact. Quartz forms through the crystallization of silica from natural fluids; the ferruginous coloration can develop subsequently, during alteration processes and deposition of iron compounds. An interesting specimen for mineralogy collectors and natural crystal enthusiasts, also ideal for a decorative display.
