Natural larimar

Larimar cabochon with “turtle shell” patterns, the most sought-after, mounted on a rhodium-plated sterling silver setting. Larimar is a rare stone, mined exclusively in the Dominican Republic. Its blue hues evoke tropical waters. According to tradition, it would have been born from mermaid tears. In lithotherapy, it is attributed soothing properties: calm of the mind, inner peace, relaxation. It would help to calm strong emotions, to communicate more harmoniously, and to express oneself better. The setting is cast in lost-wax, without a traditional prong setting. It results in organic drips and a raw texture: a unique piece, impossible to reproduce identically. Rhodium plating is a thin layer of rhodium, a precious metal in the platinum group. It protects silver from oxidation and gives it a bright white shine. Real photographs; what you see is what you receive. Delivered in a gift box. 1. Secure shipping with tracking number. 2.
