Natural larimar

Larimar cabochon with “turtle scales” patterns, the most sought-after, mounted on a solid rhodium-plated silver setting. Larimar is a rare stone, mined exclusively in the Dominican Republic. Its blue hues evoke tropical waters. According to tradition, it would have been born from mermaids’ tears. In lithotherapy, it is attributed soothing virtues: tranquility of mind, inner peace, relaxation. It would help calm intense emotions, communicate more harmoniously, and express oneself better. The setting is cast by lost-wax casting, without a traditional prong setting. It results in organic drips and a rough texture: a unique piece, impossible to reproduce exactly the same. Rhodication is a thin layer of rhodium, a precious metal in the platinum family. It protects the silver from oxidation and gives it a bright white shine. Real photographs, what you see is what you receive. Delivered in a gift box. 1. Secure shipping with tracking number. 2. Shipped twice a week. For Europe and international destinations, delivery can take 8 to 15 days depending on the destination and border customs checks. 3. All my stones are genuine, with no color treatment, resin, or plastic. They have all been carefully selected, but as they are natural and artisanal products, they may sometimes show small imperfections. 4. The listed size includes the bail. The chain seen in the photo is not included in the sale; it is a presentation accessory. 5. The photos were taken with lighting adjusted to faithfully reproduce the stone’s natural colors. 6. Unlike industrial jewelry, handmade gemstone and silver jewelry, even of high quality, may show slight marks or traces that attest to its authenticity. 7. Please examine the photographs carefully, as they are an integral part of the description. Thank you for your interest and happy bidding.
