Natural citrine quartz with calcite

Splendid specimen of Quartz, in its Citrine variety, in association with Calcite, from La Maurienne, Isère, in France: a locality particularly rare for this mineral species. The cluster features a main crystal of remarkable size with well-developed prismatic habit and the typical golden yellow color of the Citrine variety, flanked by numerous smaller interpenetrated crystals and by white calcite crystals that punctuate the base of the formation. On the faces of the crystals, small dark inclusions are visible, characterizing the surface, adding a touch of uniqueness to the piece. These features add aesthetic and mineralogical value to the piece. It is an ideal specimen for mineral collections, display and for those who appreciate the natural beauty of minerals, also in the realm of crystal therapy and lithotherapy, according to the properties traditionally associated with the mineral species. All minerals are 100% natural and untreated, except for very rare exceptions always indicated in the description. The photographs are taken with professional lighting to best enhance colors and details; however, slight tonal variations may occur depending on the device or ambient light.
