National Commercial Bank of Scotland, specimen £5, 3 January 1961, serial number G000000, Alexander signature, red SPECIMEN overprints, four cancellation holes, also specimen £1 (2), 1 November 1961 and 4 January 1968, serial numbers A000000, Alexander signature and Burke signature respectively, red SPECIMEN overprints, perforated SPECIMEN, all three notes with paperclip indentations at upper left margin, particularly strong on the £1 notes, the £5 with moderate handling, about uncirculated to uncirculated, the 1961 £1 with a corner fold, about uncirculated, the 1968 £1 with traces of handling, otherwise uncirculated, a scarce trio (3 notes) PMS NC 3s, 6s, 8s, Pick 269s, 270s, 274s £150-£200.
