Stunning wooden carved and cabinetmaking devotional crucifix, dating from the 19th century. This piece of popular religious art stands out for the richness of its details and its beautiful relief composition: The sculpted Christ, bearing an elegant gilded and silvered patina, highlighted on an opened-work cross. The central structure, enriched with numerous relief-applied sculpted motifs. A massive sculpted pedestal, hosting a lamb at the foot of the cross as well as various altar elements worked in relief. On the back of the cross and the base is the number "23" (workshop or inventory marking from the period).
