All auctions / Nautica, Technica & Optic / Nagel Ranca Analogue camera

Here is a splendid, unusual and rare vintage compact camera: the Nagel Ranca, manufactured in Germany by the famous Dr. August Nagel Camerawerk in Stuttgart between 1930 and 1932. The lot presents itself in good overall condition, with normal signs of use and preservation coherent with the object's age, and is complete with its top rear-view finder sight. Optics: The camera mounts the original Nagel-Anastigmat 1:4.5 f=5 cm lens. The lenses show no deep scratches or traces of mold; only a normal, widespread, light vintage patina due to time, entirely physiological for a piece of this age, which does not prejudice its historical thickness and collecting charm. Mechanical: The lot appears mechanically functional. The vintage Prontor mechanical central shutter responds to manual commands, triggering regularly at the various adjustable speeds. Aesthetics: Good overall condition, as documented by the photographs. The rectangular metal body with rounded corners largely preserves its original structural stability, showing the classic and normal superficial signs of time and slight wear along the glossy black external metal profiles. International tracked shipping, fully insured and professionally reinforced protective packing to guarantee maximum safety during transport.
