The NAD Masters Series M15 is a high-performance 7.1-channel AV surround preamp/processor introduced in 2005/2006 as part of NAD's prestigious Masters Series. The device was designed at the time to provide uncompromising sound quality for both multi-channel home theater and critical two-channel stereo listening. Usually this processor is combined with the associated giant NAD M25 7-channel power amplifier. Below is an overview of the main features, the different versions and the status of the device. Main Specifications (Original M15) Certification: THX Ultra 2 certified. Audio conversion: Equipped with four high-quality dual-differential 24-bit/192 kHz DACs. Analog bypass: Features a 7.1 Direct Analog Input that completely bypasses all digital processors. This makes the device loved by audiophiles for pure two-channel stereo playback. Surround formats: Support for Dolby Digital EX, Pro Logic IIx, DTS-ES and NAD's own EARS mode. Connections: Extended analog and digital audio inputs (optical and coaxial), component video inputs and an early form of HDMI switching (2 inputs, 1 output, at the time only for video) Pictures are all original of this lot and part of description!
