All auctions / Miscellaneous / Murano glass, submerged silver - Necklace - Princess Ametista
Entirely handmade in Murano, this necklace encloses in each pearl a small night sky, made of glass, light, and silver. The five pearls, worked by hand one by one with a lamp, have a soft, slightly irregular shape, a sign of hand-forming at the flame. Their colors are inspired by amethyst: purple glass and white intertwine in swirls and marmored veins, recalling the hues of this stone, and they vary in each pearl. Suspended in the glass, many strands of silver are visible, like stardust, beneath a layer of transparent crystal that adds depth and sheen. The strand of transparent bugles with a silver core, dotted with small violet bugles, accompanies the pearls discreetly, while silver-colored cups and rondelles frame each one. The anchor with a lobster clasp, with an extension chain, allows length adjustment. The princess length brings the pearls to the collarbones, where light best enlivens them. A delicate and luminous jewel, perfect for daily wear or as a gift for someone who loves violet tones and silver reflections. Each necklace is unique: the veining, violet nuances, and the arrangement of the silver strands vary from pearl to pearl. Small bubbles and irregularities are the mark of artisanal workmanship, not defects. Details Technique: lamp-worked glass with suspended silver strands. Length: about 47 cm, adjustable with the extension chain (princess length, falls on the collarbones). Pearls: approx. 1.5 cm diameter, Murano glass. Thread: transparent bugles with silver core and violet bugles. Metal: silver-colored metal (lobster clasp, cups, and spacers). The necklace arrives in an elegant rigid jewelry box with a black velvet interior, ready to gift. It is accompanied by a certificate of originality, attesting to the artisanal Murano glass craftsmanship. Fast shipping, with careful and secure packaging.
