All auctions / Miscellaneous / Murano glass, submerged silver - Choker necklace - Pop Murano
Handmade entirely in Murano, this rigid choker combines the tradition of Venetian glass with a contemporary, essential, and colorful design. At the center run six opal glass beads, lamp-worked, with a soft, flat shape, slightly curved at the sides, like small smooth pebbles. Each bead has its own bright, vivid color: acid green, black, cobalt blue, red, sky blue, and emerald green. Up close, the glossy surface shows fine veins and streaks, a sign of flame-working. Between one bead and the next, small black spacers mark the rhythm of the composition. The beads are mounted on a matte black rubber choker, soft to the touch and light to wear. The semi-rigid structure keeps the circular shape and simply opens when you widen the ends, without any clasp. The necklace rests at the base of the neck, with the beads framing the décolleté. A pop and modern jewel, perfect over a plain-colored sweater or a black dress, for those who love original accessories and bold colors. Each bead is unique: the veins and color nuances vary from piece to piece. Any small imperfections are the natural sign of handmade craftsmanship. Details Technique: lamp-worked opal glass beads. Type: rigid choker, no clasp. Diameter: about 14 cm. Beads: about 2 cm long each, Murano glass. Colors: acid green, black, cobalt blue, red, sky blue, emerald green. Materials: matte black rubber, black glass spacers. The necklace arrives in an elegant rigid jewelry box with a black velvet interior, ready to give as a gift. It is accompanied by an originality certificate attesting to the handmade Murano glass workmanship. Fast shipping, with careful and secure packaging.
