MUMA - Coralina 26 (XL)

"Coralina" is built from a constellation of small fragments of shapes and colors that function as dispersed memories, almost like visual flashes captured during a walk along a marine reef. Each element seems to arise from an intimate observation of nature, not from literal representation, but from the memory and sensation left by the organic forms of coral: their diversity, their rhythm, and their apparent fragility. The shapes appear fragmented, autonomous, yet linked to each other by an internal logic that recalls the reef’s ecosystem, where each organism maintains its identity while forming part of a living, ever-changing whole. The colors, vibrant and delicate at the same time, evoke the chromatic richness of the underwater world, as if each fragment held the imprint of a sensory experience. At the same time, "Coralina" establishes a dialogue with the terrestrial world through the evocation of wildflowers. Like these, the forms preserve their independence and singularity, growing without hierarchies or impositions, affirming their own identity within the whole. They do not subordinate themselves to one another, but coexist in a free and spontaneous balance. The work thus offers a reflection on natural memory and diversity: a space where the sea and the land meet, where each form is an autonomous memory and, at the same time, part of a broader network. Coralina celebrates the beauty of multiplicity, of fragmentation, and of that which, even small and independent, contributes to the richness of the whole. About MUMA: MUMA is an artistic duo formed by a Generalist 3D practitioner and Designer and an Art Historian, both educated at CEU San Pablo University in Madrid. Their artistic practice focuses on the visual arts, with special interest in color, movement, and the dynamism of forms, as well as in variations of the environment. Their work is conceived to integrate into space and establish a direct dialogue with routine and human experience, exploring a vital vision linked to the ideals of Impressionism, such as the relationship with nature, color, and changing environments. MUMA is connected to Madrid’s professional world of digital and plastic arts, with participation in competitions. About preparation, packaging, and shipping of the work: The work is hand-signed by the artistic duo and comes with a certificate of authenticity also signed by them. The canvas, rolled, is carefully packaged in a sturdy cardboard tube and will be shipped within three business days after purchase confirmation. The estimated delivery time will depend on the destination and the selected shipping company."
