Mouflon Skull - Ovis gmelini musimon - 30 cm - 45 cm - 34...

On offer is an impressive mouflon skull (Ovis gmelini musimon) with exceptionally robust, distinctive ram horns. The massive, outwardly flaring spirals give this trophy an imposing appearance and make it a striking centerpiece for any hunting or natural history collection. Notably, the horns’ pronounced structure, with clearly visible natural growth rings and the distinctive spiral curvature, stands out. The warm, earthy brown and gray tones of the horn provide an appealing contrast to the light, cleanly presented skull bone. The harmonious symmetry and the strong dimensions of the horn emphasize the special character of this specimen. The mouflon is a wild sheep known for its impressive ram horns, which grow continuously over the animal’s life and form characteristic growth rings. Originally native to the Mediterranean islands of Corsica and Sardinia, it was later introduced to many other regions across Europe. An expressive trophy for lovers of hunting, zoological specimens, and impressive mouflon horns. Due to its imposing horn shape, this skull is ideally suited as a decorative collectible or as a focal point in a rustic setting.
