MOROCCO. Tangier. Gold Medallic 500 Dirhams (Ounce), ND (1954). NGC MS-67. KMX-12; Lec-297. A private production by the First Banking Corporation in Tangier and refined by N. M. Rothschild & Sons. This very popular and incredibly thick bullion-like issue is typically found with some degree of hairlines or handling, but the present example is an exception. The fields are awash with uninterrupted and slightly glossy luster, and the surfaces free of all but the most minute of marks. A RARE survivor in this extraordinary condition. Estimate: $6,000 - $8,000. Click here for certification details from NGC.

Estimate:$3,600
