This bulbous ceramic jar is decorated using the tubelining technique, featuring stylized floral motifs and foliate scrolls in shades of cobalt and cornflower blue against a pale blue ground. The piece is fitted with silver-plated metal mounts, including a rim, a circular lid with a stepped finial, and a swinging bail handle.
