A0000005770 MONTBLANC WRITERS EDITION FOUNTAIN PEN 1994 "OSCAR WILDE": We present at auction one of the most charismatic and aesthetically appealing editions of the famous Montblanc Writers Edition collection: the one dedicated to the brilliant Irish playwright Oscar Wilde, released in 1994. This piece is a Limited Edition, bearing a very low serial number: 00240 of the 20,000 units manufactured worldwide. The pen design pays homage to the Art Deco style. The body is crafted in a spectacular marbled resin that emulates antique celluloid in cream, mother-of-pearl, and black tones. The thick black cap features a vintage-style tear-shaped gold-plated clip and the author’s engraved signature. The set is crowned by a beautiful solid 18-carat gold nib (750), decorated with intricate arabesques and the year 1994 engraved. Condition (Expert Review) We ask bidders to thoroughly review the photo gallery. The fountain pen is in very good structural and mechanical condition (the piston works correctly and the resin maintains a high gloss). ATTENTION: As clearly shown in the photographs, the cap bears a personal engraving with the initials "M.A.A.G". It is sold exactly in the photographed condition, without original case or documentation. It is a magnificent opportunity to acquire a "Writers Edition" for daily use at a price more affordable than strictly collectible units.
