A0000003282 The pen is presented in overall excellent condition, notable for a very careful aesthetic and maintenance in line with professional standards. The body in precious black resin preserves a deep, uniform shine, with minimal signs of use visible only upon close inspection, consistent with very light and respectful use. No cracks, dents or deformations are observed, indicating optimal preservation of the structure. The elements plated in red gold (Red Gold) — clip, rings and details — are in very good condition, with a bright, even finish. No loss of plating or significant wear is seen, maintaining its original elegance and the characteristic contrast with the black resin. The cap features a firm and precise fit, with the floating Montblanc emblem in perfect condition, clean and well defined, with no opacities or visible damage. The set conveys a sense of solidity and quality in every handling. The 14K gold nib, finely worked and with the Montblanc engraving sharp, is in excellent condition, without deformations or alterations. The feed is correct and the writing mechanism has been checked, guaranteeing smooth, fluid and reliable operation, ready for immediate use. The grip and threading area remain in very good condition, with no noticeable wear, ensuring a comfortable and stable writing experience. Overall, it is a very well-preserved piece, with an ideal balance between minimal use and proper maintenance, keeping intact its modern and sophisticated presence characteristic of the StarWalker line. Preservation recommendations To preserve the state of this piece, it is recommended to use high-quality inks specific for fountain pens, avoid pigmented inks, clean with lukewarm water if not used for a while, dry completely before storing, keep it in a dry place away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures, and operate the writing mechanism gently at all times. It will be shipped in a courtesy box for proper conservation. Happy bidding!
