We present to the auction a magnificent writing instrument that celebrates space exploration and the beauty of our planet: the Montblanc StarWalker Blue Planet Ballpoint Pen. This fascinating model represents a poetic evolution of the famous StarWalker line, inspired by the breathtaking view of Earth from space, a true homage to the blue of the oceans. The body and cap of the pen are masterfully crafted in precious glossy resin, rendered in a deep and vibrant dark blue shade that evokes the color of our planet. To further enhance this cosmic and elegant look are the bright solid-metal details, all finely plated in platinum. At the top of the cap sits the distinctive element of this specific edition: the iconic transparent resin dome hides, at its base, a striking blue hemisphere, above which the white six-point Montblanc star floats magically, evoking the image of the Earth rising over the lunar horizon. On the clip ring the individual serial number is clearly engraved. Technically speaking, this prestigious example is configured as a Ballpoint Pen, operated by a fluid and infallible twist mechanism. The meticulously disassembled photos of the piece in its main components confirm the perfect integrity of the internal metal structure and the precision of the threads, also showing the original refill inside. The condition of preservation of this masterpiece is to be considered excellent. The item has clearly been kept with care: the blue resin presents beautifully glossy and intact, as do the sparkling platinum finishes, showing only microscopic and entirely normal superficial signs (hairlines) due to normal careful handling, details almost invisible at first quick glance. To significantly enhance this lot, the pen is offered complete with its accessories, including the elegant original Montblanc presentation box with light interior and the “Service Guide” booklet, making it an unmissable opportunity for your collection or as a prestigious gift.
