A0000004957 The Montblanc Meisterstück Donation Pen Leonard Bernstein is presented in excellent condition, displaying an elegant and well-cared-for appearance both aesthetically and functionally. The black precious resin maintains a deep, even shine, with clean, well-maintained surfaces that reflect moderate and responsible use over time. The details plated in yellow gold retain a striking visual presence, with a bright and uniform finish. The characteristic clip shaped like a treble clef, one of the most emblematic elements of this edition dedicated to Leonard Bernstein, is perfectly aligned and in very good visual condition. The decorative rings with musical engravings preserve definition and sharpness. The original Montblanc 4810 solid 18-karat gold nib is in excellent condition, with proper feed and functional writing. The pen has been inspected and tested prior to sale to ensure proper operation. The set includes its original special Montblanc Leonard Bernstein box, a highly valued item by collectors that significantly increases the appeal of this edition. The service documentation visible in the photographs is also preserved. Only minor superficial micro-scratches compatible with careful preservation and occasional use are observed, with no cracks, dents, or relevant damage. A refined and highly collectible piece within Montblanc’s prestigious Donation Pen series, dedicated to one of the most influential figures in 20th-century music. Preservation recommendations Use high-quality fountain pen inks and avoid pigmented inks. Clean periodically with warm water if not used for a long time. Dry completely before storing. Store in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Gently operate the filling system and the cap to preserve the mechanism and finishes.
