A0000005666 Item: MONTBLANC Meisterstück fountain pen, precious black resin with platinum-plated finishes and white star on the cap Reference / Edition: Meisterstück Classique 145 ("Chopin") Platinum-Coated, serial no. MBPD59NN7 engraved on the cap band Length: 14 cm (cap on) Diameter: 1.3 cm Nib: OB (broad oblique), according to the original sticker "OB" attached to the body; 14-karat gold (Au 585) bi-metal gold and rhodium, engraved with the Meisterstück motif and "4810" Period: 2000s-2010s (Platinum-Coated line, in production since the late 1990s) Materials: polished black precious resin, clip and three bands platinum-plated with the legend "MONTBLANC MEISTERSTÜCK" engraved on the central band, 14-karat (585) bi-metal gold nib, black ebonite feed; piston filling system Condition: very good overall. The black resin retains excellent shine, with no noticeable dings or marks, and the platinum plating on the clip and bands remains intact; in the macro view of the cap there are fine scratches and a small mark on the engraved band, next to the serial number. The nib is intact and the tipping is aligned, though it shows darkening and small wear marks on the plating, as well as dried ink residue on the nib and feed, so a cleaning before writing is advisable. Accessories: only the loose piece; no box or papers visible in the photos (retains the original adhesive label indicating the stroke width "OB" on the body)
