In this showcase we present an authentic Montblanc craftsmanship jewel, renowned for its compact design and timeless elegance: the Montblanc Bohème Rouge Gold Line Fountain Pen (model with fixed nib). This model stands out for its unmistakable silhouette, crafted in deep black precious resin, cleverly contrasted with bright yellow gold-plated finishes. To make this line unique and immediately recognizable is the distinctive cap clip, adorned with a sparkling red ruby-colored synthetic stone. At the top of the cap sits the indispensable white star emblem, symbol of artisanal excellence. Distinctive note: On the side of the cap there is an elegant customized cursive engraving with the initials "F A", a detail that gives the instrument a unique and historic character. The beating heart of this writing instrument is the magnificent two-tone nib in solid 14-karat gold (Au585), handmade. The nib is finely decorated with intricate arabesque motifs and bears the iconic inscription "4810". This exemplar features a fixed nib, which gives the pen a clean, classic line, ensuring an immediate and balanced writing experience. Feeding is exclusively cartridge-based, designed to guarantee maximum practicality and clean use in any situation. The overall condition of the item is to be considered good, structurally sound and fully functional, while honestly describing the following cosmetic flaws due to age and use. The black resin shows several scratches and superficial wear marks. The most critical issues are found on the gold-plated metal finishes: the ring at the base of the writing unit (directly under the nib) shows pronounced corrosion. The large central rings of the cap and the clip ring bearing the serial number also show scratches and slight wear of the gilding. The solid gold nib assembly remains intact and ready for use.
