Montblanc - Aviator MB 513S 16B - Sunglasses

We present at auction an elegant pair of men’s sunglasses by Montblanc, specifically the sought-after MB 513S 16B model, a luxury accessory that fuses timeless aviator style with distinctive premium details of the renowned fashion house. The frame is crafted in glossy palladium-colored metal, featuring the classic teardrop line and a solid front with a double bridge. The lenses boast a sophisticated Grey Fade tint, while the metal temples are adorned with a distinctive circular ribbed relief pattern that clearly echoes the brand’s famous writing instruments in both design and texture. To reinforce the house’s unmistakable identity, the iconic white star emblem is stylishly set into the hinge joint of the side hinges, blending with the resin tips offered in a deep burgundy shade with the Montblanc lettering engraved on the inside. The preservation state of this piece is classified as in excellent overall condition, maintaining perfect structural solidity, firm hinges, and lenses beautifully preserved. However, in strict compliance with our policy of total transparency and as clearly visible in the macro photographic documentation, there are slight and physiological signs from normal prior use concentrated mainly on the burgundy temple tips: in particular, the gold metal beneath the very tip of the terminals becomes exposed due to natural and constant rubbing during resting or wearing. These minimal signs of time bear witness to the object’s history without in any way compromising its magnificent overall aesthetic appeal.
