Pocket / travel brass microscope, tambour-type from the late 19th century, circa 1880–1900. Monocular field microscope with draw-out and adjustable/orientable mirror, complete in original box with brass forceps and prepared slides. Weight: 0.5 kg (without packaging) Dimensions: Microscope height 15 cm Wood box: 18 x 7 x 6 cm Materials: Brass, Glass, Wood Color: Golden / patinated brass, natural wood box Shipping method: Colissimo with bubble protection and slides packed separately. Original set includes: • Brass microscope • Original wooden box • Brass brucelle forceps • 2 antique preparations on cardboard • Lot of 9 glass slides with old biological preparations (some broken/incomplete) Condition: Original patina, focusing mechanism functional, optics with age-related dust. Optical test OK, see photo through the eyepiece. Sold for collection / cabinet of curiosities.
