Mojito - Valeria Radzievska

Mojito by Valeria Radzievska Painting 28.0 x 40.0 :: A sun-drenched moment of freedom confidence and effortless summer sensuality. Mojito portrays a woman caught in a quiet self-assured pause turning away from the viewer behind reflective sunglasses. Her patterned headscarf long dark hair and bare back create a striking silhouette against a vibrant expressive background. Layers of turquoise lime green warm coral and deep black evoke the refreshing colours of a tropical afternoon and the vivid energy of a freshly mixed mojito. Bold brushstrokes drips and gestural marks contrast with the carefully observed figure creating a dynamic dialogue between realism and contemporary expression. In creating this piece I've infused a blend of pop art vibrancy with the finesse of realism. Through oil I've breathed life into a moment of chic leisure. Oil on a gallery canvas signed and dated.
