Modern Men's Ring Made of High-Carat Gold with Diamonds, Germany, c. 2000

This striking men’s ring, crafted from high-karat yellow gold, embodies the clean, minimalist design aesthetic of German jewelry design around the turn of the millennium. With a ring band approximately seven millimeters wide, it exudes a commanding presence. The centerpiece of the ring is a continuous band of five princess-cut diamonds with a total weight of 0.80 ct. The stones are set side by side in a seamless channel setting, so that no visible metal appears between them. This creates an unbroken band of light, whose geometric precision beautifully highlights the characteristic facets of the princess cut. As indicated on the ring band, the diamonds are of Top Wesselton color quality with minor inclusions. The ring was crafted at the Hans Rivoir workshop in Pforzheim. A high-quality diamond ring of understated modernity that found its way to us here in Berlin.
