The entourage ring with sapphire in the middle of a halo of diamonds is a classic in jewelry history. This ring shows why. It has a large sapphire in its center. The color of the stone is particularly beautiful, a bright blue, not at all inky or almost black like many other sapphires. The gemstone is framed by ten brilliant-cut diamonds weighing a total of around two carats. Six more diamonds set the shoulders of the sturdy ring band. The combination of sapphire and diamonds used here can be explained not only by the fact that the stones enhance each other in intensity. In fact, since the 19th century in particular, they have stood for fidelity and eternity, which is why the Entourage ring with sapphire was and is often worn as an engagement ring. A famous example of this is the ring worn by Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales. She wears a very similar piece from the London court jeweler Garrard on her ring finger - a piece of jewelry that was previously worn by Princess Diana. The classic color combination of the stones is wonderfully enhanced by settings made of high-carat white gold. This creates an attractive contrast that perfectly accentuates the cool sparkle of the gemstones. The ring was probably created in the United States around 1990. We have had an independent appraisal carried out, which confirms the high quality of the materials used.
