Vintage Terracotta Wall Mirror – Oval Frame with Hand-Painted Floral Relief Decor – Second Half 20th Century An attractive, oval decorative wall mirror featuring a solid frame made of genuine terracotta. The front showcases a beautifully sculpted, three-dimensional relief decor with hand-painted vines, blossoms, and berry elements in warm red, green, and yellow tones. These details give the piece a unique Mediterranean Folk Art charm. The reverse side is unglazed, revealing the characteristic, earthy texture of fired clay. A sturdy, triangular metal loop is securely embedded at the top for safe wall mounting. Details & Specifications Object: Wall mirror Material: Terracotta (fired clay), mirror glass, metal hanger Style: Rustic / Folk Art / Mediterranean Estimated Period: ca. 1970–1990 Country of Origin: Unknown (Stylistic elements strongly suggest Southern European craftsmanship, e.g., Italy or Spain) Dimensions: 44x35x4 cm, The dimensions of the interior mirrors: 34x25 cm Weight: approx. 3 Kilogramm Condition Report: The mirror is in good, collectible vintage condition with a charming patina. On the unglazed back, there are fine, superficial hairline cracks (craquelure) along the inner rim. These are material-typical results of the firing process or natural tension in the clay and do not affect the structural stability of the frame. The mirror glass itself is clear, clean, and well-preserved. Please review the photos carefully as they form an integral part of the description.
