MiLo - Counterpoise - XXL

Black Florals MiLo (1976), Netherlands Black Florals presents two oversized floral silhouettes moving across a warm, tactile off-white field. The deep black forms are deliberately simplified, reducing the flowers to bold shapes and gestures rather than botanical detail. The contrast between the soft, worked background and the almost graphic black forms gives the painting both presence and calm. Depending on its orientation, the composition shifts completely — from rising flowers to an abstract botanical landscape. The work can be displayed horizontally or vertically, allowing the owner to choose the orientation that best suits the space. Acrylic on cotton canvas. Signed and supplied with a certificate of authenticity. About the Artist MiLo is a Dutch contemporary artist whose work moves between abstraction, graphic form and loosely figurative imagery. His paintings are characterised by strong contrasts, tactile surfaces and a restrained visual language. His work has found its way into private collections throughout Europe and internationally.
