Milo (1910-1978) - after - Sculpture

A distinctive and characterful bronze sculpture of a reclining panda, executed after Milo. The panda is depicted in a relaxed pose as it brings bamboo to its mouth. The combination of the dark patinated surface with the warm gold-colored polished accents highlights the head, belly, legs and the fine texture of the fur. The sculpture rests on a heavy, polished marble pedestal with pronounced gold-brown natural veining. This gives the whole piece a luxurious and classical appearance. A decorative art object that reveals a lot of detail both up close and from a distance, and which looks especially beautiful in a modern, classical or eclectic interior.
